Steve has a Chat with Hayden Stafford

In this episode of “Steve has a Chat“, I tried to sneak up on Hayden Stafford, but he sniffed me out immediately once he answered the phone. He caught me, but he didn’t hang up!

Hayden is the Corporate Vice President for WW Business Applications Sales, basically “the” top sales guy. His excitement about what has, and will be happening in the business applications space for Microsoft was palpable. He will be at Microsoft Business Applications Summit, and is hard to miss at 6′-5″ with red hair!

We chatted about a wide range of topics, including how the Business Applications group is viewed inside of Microsoft today, (hint: Satya is a huge fan). We also talked about how customers, partners and Microsoft’s own sales organization is looking at everything through a completely different lens than just 2 years ago. Also a shout out to my friends at Barhead. Enjoy!
